Though it is hard to imagine what the 43 years old lorry driver must have felt while he was having yogurt from Tesco and a tooth stuck up under his teeth, Tesco is doing its best to compensate for the inconvenience. It was told that David Casey was enraged with what happened with him and rushed to get an answer from the shop for the same. The man is told to have bought the yogurt from a Coventry branch of the supermarket on September 24.
The father-of-one, from Bedworth in Warwickshire, is aghast with the incident. 'Straight away when I saw it, it looked like a tooth - it even had fillings as well. It was the most disgusting thing I've ever eaten in my life”, said the man, who was even offered refund for the 'Tesco Finest Devonshire Style Fudge Yoghurt'.
Though Tesco has assured that suitable test of the product would be done as this is matter for their repute also, the man is finding it difficult to come out of the taste of human tooth, a large yellow molar, complete with a filling.
The man told that had he gulped down the teeth, things would have been lot bad with him. Even the company sent Mr. Casey a £15 voucher as an apology, the man seems to feel offended by this attempt.
It was also told that he had gone through a long course of chemotherapy for a stomach tumor recently and if god forbidden, the teeth would have entered his stomach, he might would have been hospitalized again. It could have been fatal for the man had the tooth had some infection.
While the man is no mood to oblige Tesco, the company is making it sure that the matter has been directed for further investigation and things would be sorted out soon.
