Black Friday Sales Expected To Top Last Year’s

The lines have been building outside the shops as Thanksgiving Day comes to an end and avid shoppers line up in front of stores, all hoping that they get the best things for the best prices and discounts. Significantly, reports have come through indicating that this year's Black Friday was definitely going to top last year's.

It has been reported that the expected amount of consumers that are going to throng the shops are about 52 per cent and that is a good deal more than the 42 per cent of consumers the previous year. Shoppers arrive for the big discounts, and, not really for the gifts, but for the glorious gifts.

Researchers have concluded that more than 86 per cent of shoppers would not buy anything which has less than 20 per cent discounted and there are about a quarter of people who had commented that they would not buy anything that did not have at least a 50 per cent discount.

Most of the retailers would open only at midnight after the end of Thanksgiving Day and about 10 per cent of consumers would begin their Black Friday shopping and find sensible Christmas gifts for their loved ones between midnight and 3 a. m.
