Men More Likely to Fall In Love First

LoveAs per reported information, a latest study, which was carried out by Psychologist Marissa Harrison, of Pennsylvania State University, United States, has claimed that men are as much as thrice more expected to use "I love you" first in a relationship. The study is plainly in deep contrast to an earlier study which proclaimed that women are more expressive in terms of relationship and easily express their feeling.

According to the study, which has been made available in the Journal of Social Psychology, women are extra cautious, as compared to men, in revealing their warmth in a relationship.

The study revealed that men were more liable to fall in love within a matter of few weeks, while it takes several months for women to fall in love or literally express their affection in a relationship.

Expressing her opinion regarding the findings of the study, Harrison said: “Men reported falling in love sooner and three times as many men as women said 'I love you' first to their partners”.

She further asserted that possibly women are professed as less balanced when it comes to expressing love as they generally possess more capability for handing out emotional experiences.

Adding a surprising statement to her findings, Harrison claimed that men are likely to crave for initial sex after just few weeks of their relationship, while she said that women, generally, want to wait for at least a few months before having sex for the first time.

Prof. Harrison added: “Men reported falling in love sooner and three times as many men as women said 'I love you' first to their partners”. It visibly implies that women have a tendency of being extra pragmatic when it comes to love than it is generally perceived by the society. Perhaps, women are reluctant in going fool-heartedly into their relationship, at least initially they are.
