Electricity Blackout Kills Patient

In a very tragic incident, where a son made an emergency call to his parents which went unanswered, certainly forced the teenager to the terrible death path.

The whole issue came to limelight after the news reports accounted that the from a long time, the 35- year -old person suffered from muscular dystrophy and was inhaling via a ventilator.

Meanwhile, at 4 am, suddenly the hospital faced a power cut and as a result of which, the patient suffered from a mild heart failures and within few minute he lost his life.

The dead person was admitted in the Ashdale Nursing Home in Pembroke. The Hospital nurse stated that she eye witnessed the tragic situation, where the patient kept on asking for a help but unfortunately s he failed to help him.

However, the investigation findings argued that the patient might have been saved if the hospital staff would have given him mouth-to-mouth breathing.

While, the investigation reports believed that just because of the immature behavior shown by the hospital staff, the patient lost his life.

The case reports also highlight the fact that the hospital staff wasted their precious time in just trying to wire up a back-up battery pack in shadows by using the light from their mobile phone screens.

On the other hand, after losing their dear child, the parents continuously requested the regional authorities to take some quick legal action against the hospital staff.

Commenting on the issue, Dr. Tim Lewis Gavin’s Consultant said that he refuse to believe all these raised allegations because every week it is made sure that all the hospital generators kick in automatically are properly checked.

He added, “A trained nurse would know procedures to check airways but in the panic the non-medical staff focused on the battery. Yet with mouth-to-mouth you can keep a person breathing indefinitely”.
