These days, many youngsters are complaining about joint pains. There joint pains are so severe that they are asked to undergo joint replacement surgery at the age of 35 or 40. According to experts, obese people are more likely to suffer from osteoarthritis problem.
Besides obesity, genetic disorders are also one of the reasons behind early osteoarthritis cases. It has further been revealed that youngsters might even be vulnerable to “Rheumatoid arthritis”, “Ankylosing spondylitis” and “Juvenile idiopathic arthritis” which are hard to diagnose during initial stages.
On the coming World Arthritis Day, doctors are planning to make people aware of the danger of contacting the diseases unknowingly. Obesity is linked to various lethal diseases like type-2 diabetes and heart diseases. Therefore, healthy eating and daily exercise is beneficial for all as it keeps a person in perfect shape.
It has been reported that on Tuesday, AIIMS authorities organized an awareness camp to educate masses about the osteoarthritis disease. A person suffering from osteoarthritis may show symptoms of stiff joints, redness on the skin of joints, loss of vision and fever. Most of the cases of osteoarthritis are treatable if diagnosed timely. Therefore, people with symptoms of osteoarthritis are advised to seek medical help.
