In a statement, the Federal Minister for Health and Ageing, Nicola Roxon has expressed excitement over an agreement offering $3.2 million for construction of a clinic.
Simultaneously, the Chairperson of the Foundation, Boris Chern has appreciated the agreement that is expected to finalize the facility as well as to deliver all essential services. In addition, he insisted that the move was outlined with a focus on the Integrated Care Centre and improved standards of operations.
On the other hand, the Director of Construction group, Ben Holley has also applauded the agreement and notified that the company would be establishing a relation with subcontractors.
"However we aim to do it in stages so that the facility can be opened floor by floor, with the first floors being opened involving the GP and allied health services", added Mr. Ben Holley.
Further, he marked it as a better project for the Government, residents as well as the foundation.
In addition, sources have confirmed that Geoff Wilson, the Health Minister of Queensland has no plans to signature any approval for the foundation in order to acquire accessibility of a loan from the Queensland Treasury Corporation. Simultaneously, the Crime and Misconduct Commission would not be investigating the matter.
