A new study, conducted by Harvard researchers, has found a strong connection between exercise and low heart risk and that connection and that link is Vitamin D.
Researchers affirmed that since long, it was said that exercise, whether moderate or dynamic, reduces the risk of cardiac arrest but the reason was not known. But, through this study they have got to know the reason for it. For the first time, it was found that vitamin D plays major role in lessening the risk of heart attack as when people work out under sun, they are not only making their body fit but are also getting vitamin D. This vitamin D helps them gain immunity against heart attack risk.
Researchers, through this research, have also tried to tell that outdoor exercises are far more beneficial than losing calories on treadmill. One of the reasons they have explained above.
Findings of the study, which got published in the Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise Journal of American origin of October issue, revealed that forceful exercise done under sun increases cholesterol level in our body, and reduce the risk of diabetes and blood pressure.
