It has been revealed in recent reports that the Federal Government shall now be funding Southern Tasmania with three times the funds it did for dealing with mental health care of the people. It is essential that mental health issues are well monitored and this is why there is need for improved funds for better facilities.

There has been a sum of more than $20, 000 issued in favor of the health services of the nation, which is of the aim of providing low cost treatment for the patients in need for mental health care.

"Younger people tend not to seek treatment as much as they should and there are other hard to reach groups in the community who need counseling services and other mental health support and just are not getting them", said Mark Butler, the federal Health Minister.

It is essential that effective and low cost treatment is provided to people on time, so that their disease does not advance further to become more pronounced and severe.

The low income group people from Tasmania are going to be the ones benefitted maximum from this drive, as they shall now have access to quality health treatment at effective prices.
