There is good news for the parents of those kids have been suffering from leukemia. It has been found by the British researchers that a drug made by using GlaxoSmithKline could save millions of children’s life.

For experiment, the researchers created a drug named I-BET151 which has been found helpful in limiting the growth of leukemia. The researchers are of the view that the drug would prove effective in treating children born with the disorder.

Although drug has been found to treat the disease, further research is required to be carried out. Children leukemia which is regarded as MLL leukemia in scientific terms can lead to acute case of leukemia among kids in their later life span.

It has been informed that the newly develop drug works by targeting the genes which causes the disease in the kids. The drug has already been tested on mice and over human cancer cells in the laboratories. The drug will soon be going through Human Phase 1 trial.

The researchers are hopeful that the drug would bring revolution in the world of science as leukemia is considered as one of the most deadly diseases. It has been informed by the UK researchers that only 1igt out of 10 MLL leukemia patients survive for more than five years.
