UAE extends full support to the Palestinian Authority Extending full support to the Palestinian Authority at the 66th session of United Nations General Assembly yesterday, Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and UAE Foreign Minister said that his country will continue to support the legitimate rights of Palestinian people.

Many other nations of the Gulf region also backed the Palestinian Authority's current attempts seeking full membership in the United Nations.

Shaikh Abdullah added, "The UAE also supports the Palestinian Authority's current attempts to gain international recognition of the independent Palestinian State in accordance with relevant international resolutions, the road map, and the Arab peace initiative, and also supports Palestine's quest for full membership in the United Nations."

UAE also backed and admired King Hamad Bin Eisa Al Khalifa of Bahrain for his endless efforts to promote national dialogue among all segments of the Bahraini society for bringing stability and peace in the region. UAE pledged full support to the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Bahrain and hoped that the nation will progress by leaps and bounces under the dynamic leadership of King Hamad Bin Eisa Al Khalifa.
