Rise in House Prices to Continue - RICS
Rise in House

According to a recent revelation by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, prices of homes across UK will continue to rise for some time to come. In its recently released monthly survey, the group has revealed that sellers are now coming back to the market and so are the buyers. Currently, there are more buyers on the outlook than there are properties, as confirmed by a recent survey which revealed that, on an average, as many as 5 potential buyers are chasing each residential property.

Jeremy Leaf of RICS shared, "Although the supply of property is beginning to pick-up, it is still insufficient to keep pace with the increase in demand which points to further prices gains in the near term".

For the month of October, house prices saw a 34% rise in prices, a significant climb from the September figure of 20%. According to RICS, this has been the strongest rise recorded since December 2006.
