Train Service Disarmed by Power Cuts in Brisbane

Power-CutsDue to power breakdown, train facility of Brisbane has been interrupted. It has been informed that the trains will be running with delay in the evening when everyone is rushing home. The stations which are expected to witness a delay include South Brisbane, Roma Street, Central and Fortitude Valley.

With the pursuit of overcoming the delay, shuttle buses are replacing train services. Commuters have been advised to keep a tab over the station’s website for updates with regard to the running of the trains.

It has been informed that about 11: 45 am, a loud blast was heard which replicated to a car accident but later, it was discovered that electricity wires caught fire which disturbed the power supply of Central and Fortitude Valley.

Electricians, together with experts, are working towards repairing the wires. At present, the trains are running on a 50% power supply. The reason behind the power cut is yet to be uncovered. With hope of avoiding any confusion, concerned authorities are advising commuters to use bus services. Moreover, commuters are being restricted from going to platforms unless and until train arrives there.
