Former Pak military ruler Mushrarraf ready for home return Former Pakistani President and founder of the All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) sought help from foreign agencies based in United States and UK for providing him security in the wake of his proposed return to Pakistan. Musharraf is currently living in self-exile in Britain and Dubai following fear of arrest in his home country over charges of corruption, conspiracy and murder.

The former military ruler discussed his plans with party members from Pakistan, the US, Canada and s in Dubai and wished to return back in Pakistan for actively participating in politics. He apparently doesn't want to meet the fate met by former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto when she returned to Pakistan.

Sources close to the military ruler said that party workers will convince him to review his plans based on political situation in Pakistan. APML spokesman Fawad Chaudhry confirmed that Musharraf is keen to return his home country and finalizing his security arrangements with the help of foreign security agencies. Pakistani army will also provide full proof security cover to the former president but the party doesn't want to take risk about his security.

Chaudhry said, "Mr. Musharraf is considering shifting to Dubai from next month to look after party affairs from there. The APML will not take any chances with regard to the security of its leader."
