Doctor’s Personal Life under ScrutinyThe behavior of doctors after working hours has become a matter of concern for the General Medical Council, as now, it's being sought whether their behavior can impact their work. It has been proposed that the lives of the doctors and GPs should be monitored after they leave the hospital, and on vocations.

Criticizing the proposed plan of monitoring lives of the doctors, it has been urged that the doctors should be allowed to live a normal life after they leave for home. Meanwhile, it has come to light that in the month of October, the General Medical Council will be launching a review over the review Good Medical Practice.

The recommendation of monitoring the lives of the doctors came when it was found that a GP, Dr Richard Scott allegedly tried to promote Christianity among his patients. As result of his unprofessional behavior, the General Medical Council issued a warning letter to him. His case is due to be investigated on Thursday and Friday by the elected committee.

There a number of such doctors who are yet to be uncovered. Such practice by the doctors can be misleading for patients as their health could be put in danger. The doctors focus on personal belief instead of focusing on treatment.
