The Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority is all set to introduce innovative techniques for licensing procedure for all exhibitions and conferences held in Abu Dhabi. People can avail any information regarding conferences through a unique web address from 20th September.

Nasser Al Reyami, ADTA's director of Tourism Standards hailed the move and added that the facility would make procedures efficient, fast and seamless both for investors and program holders. ADTA’s rules require licenses for all exhibitions with floor space of over 1,000 square metres.

The body generally grants licenses for up to five years and renew every year. Any workshop, conference or symposium attended my multi-representational delegates is subjected to compulsory licensing by the competent authority.

Al Reyami told, "A conference that includes a small exhibition is covered by a conference license as long as the gross exhibition space is less than 1,000 square meters."
