The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation has successfully established itself as a pioneer in the research field, particularly aimed to cure, treat and avoid incidents of Type 1 diabetes.
Aaron Kowalski, who is serving as an Assistant Vice President of Treatment Therapies at JDRF, has stressed on the need of easy availability of insulin and said: "What we need is sophisticated insulin that will take the guesswork out of managing diabetes by developing novel insulin that works in the same way insulin works in people without diabetes”.
In addition, Aaron Kowalski has notified that Type 1 diabetes affects responsiveness of the immune system and that fluctuates functioning of pancreas, cite for the insulin secretion. Further, the experts has called people living with type 1 diabetes as well as type 2 diabetes to go for a test and know sugar levels in their blood. The test report indicates presence of hyperglycemia, excessive blood sugar, hypoglycemia, minimum levels of blood sugar.
The occurrences of any of these instances are known to trigger a number of health complications, including kidney failure, blindness, cardio vascular disease, stroke as well as amputation.
It can be considered as a common disease across the world and continue to increase the number of insulin dependent people.
