School Lunchboxes: An Issue of Concern

School Lunchboxes: An Issue of ConcernOne of the continuous feuds between children and their parents is on the topic of lunch at school. Some mothers are continuously fretting about the nutritional needs of their children and love to serve them healthy food for school lunchboxes.

On the other hand, there are parents who simply give money to their children to buy whatever available at school cafeteria. The question is what is the better thing to do? Pack a set of nutritious and handpicked food items for their lunch, or leave them at the mercy of cafeteria cooks? The answer is obvious.

Due to a lot of peer pressure borne by children, it sometimes becomes difficult for parents to give them lunch for school. They say they are ‘too big’ for lunch and would rather eat at cafeteria. It is essential to give proper food to children during their growth years. This is the reason why they need good lunchtime nutrition, which keeps them going the entire day.

There needs to be a middle way worked out by children and their parents, to make sure they get good food and nutrition without fuss and drama.
