Depression Taking Its Toll on Young PopulationFollowing the findings of the American researchers, the German researchers are echoing them saying that women are prone of suffering depression before reaching thirties. Last month, it was revealed by the American researchers that women who struggle to keep up with the family and job suffers from extreme mental health problems.

It has come to light that about 38% of the people all over the world are suffering from some sort of depression and insomnia. For the study, the researchers examined 1,600 young women at the Washington University.

Decades ago, the picture was different as women at the age of 40 used to get depressed. These days, men are also suffering from depression. The reason being cited behind men getting depressed is their lack of skills in expressing their inner desires.

Often, men find it difficult to express their anguish which cause mental problem in them beginning from depression. However, the figures reveal that in 1970s only women used to get depressed. But now with changing time men and women are equally at risk of suffering from depression. The word depression, although, is emotional imbalance, but if not treated on time could cause mental illness.
