Preparations are on full swing for the 21st edition of Index, Mena’s top interiors and design exhibition. The event is likely to see participation from leading national and international brands in Dubai. As many as 800 exhibitors from 49 countries are on toes for making their presence successful during the event to be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from October 22 to 25.
The event would see six product-specific shows including furnishings, inretail, kitchen & bathroom, lighting, outdoor living and textiles held by world’s reputed firms. In addition to that, 20 national pavilions would show product specifications by the country.
Paula Al Chami, event director for Index, said, “The introduction of the product-specific shows solidifies Index’s position as the ‘must attend’ design show for industry professionals from the Mena region. Based on insights and feedback we received from the market and from our visitors, 68 per cent of the people wanted the show to be product-specific while the remainder wanted to see products split by the manufacturing nation, so we now offer both.”
He hoped that the event would offer the exhibitors opportunities to showcase their products and services in the presence of a large number of visitors and prospective customers.
