Hotel, retail and catering division of Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH) pushed net profit of the bank by 7.7 per cent during the second quarter of current financial year. Bank’s net profit stood at Dh56.75m during the reporting period while its revenue rose 6.25 per cent to stand at Dh452 million, indicating overall better period for the hospitality industry.
Rise in the number of tourist both in the hospitality and business category, increased occupancy rate by 71 per cent during the second quarter. The company's award-winning catering division, ADNH Compass, that won big contracts recently, reported 11 per cent increase in revenue that stood at Dh205.54 million.
Salem Mohamed Athaith Al Ameri, Chairman of ADNH, said: "The solid financial results achieved by the company, which highlight its steady performance in the previous quarter and last year, bear witness to the success of the company's overall strategy and its well defined market - driven business plans."
Richard W. Riley, CEO of ADNH hailed the 360 degree services provided by ADHN under a single roof. He said that every possible practice would be followed by the firm in order to meet the expectations of customers and stakeholders.
