The police of South Australia revealed about the death of two men in Adelaide due to overdose of heroin. The two deaths have alarmed the police authorities of the region about the easy reach out to the drugs like heroin.
The two deaths were found to have no link with each other as there was a difference of 24 hours in the deaths. The police officials have raided a number of places in South Australia in relation to the drugs supply. Drug and Alcohol Services Spokesman, Chris Holmwood, revealed that they were in doubts that around 5,000 people were taking heroin.
As per Chris Holmwood, "By that I mean if you're going to inject the drug use a small quantity, maybe 20 per cent or less, and see what the effect of that is and then make your judgment subsequent to that”. He further recommends that people should be warned to stop buying the product and also avoid injecting the drugs. He revels that smoking or inhaling was better than injecting drugs.
Meanwhile, the police was waiting for the reports of postmortem so as to make a deeper investigation in the matter with the clearance of certain things.
