During the investigation, a worse incident of Nepean Hospital came into light. It has been unveiled that last year, the hospital by mistake gave reheated frozen expressed breast milk to a baby. It has been told that the milk was left in the refrigerator by a patient earlier discharged with the same surname of that of mother of the baby.

The report also showed that in an incident, a 63-day old baby, in the incubator, was fed by another mother's breast milk via naso-gastric tube. There have been many such incidents in various hospitals of Sydney where babies have been fed with the milk of wrong mothers.
