Ahli Bank SAOG, one of the fastest developing bank in the Sultanate, has entered into an agreement with Sohar Port Special Projects LLC for a syndicated financing facility.

The lender stated in a communiqué that the financing facility is for the dredging and construction of the new 1380 meter long and 25 meter deep water jetty at the Port of Sohar, for dedicated use by Vale.

The syndicated financing facility involves a squad of 7 Banks including Ahli Bank SAOG and its strategic partner, Ahli United Bank, Bahrain.

It should be noted that Ahli Bank SAOG along with its strategic partner Ahli United Bank has been an active player in Oman, financing a number of projects in the Sultanate of Oman.
