Blood Donation in Exchange to a Mud Hens Game Free Ticket

Blood-DonationOn Monday, the baseball fans will avail an opportunity to reserve a free ticket to a Mud Hens game any Monday through Wednesday in August through blood donation.

The blood drive is scheduled from 8am to 2pm, on Monday, at Fifth Field where donors will be meeting players and mascots along with a chance to win autographed baseball as well as other similar items.

Authorities have urged interested individuals to make a call on 1-800-733-2767 to get the blood drive appointment. In addition, they also notified to log on at redcrossblood. org for online registration where the online registrations for the Mud Hens drive should use the sponsor code MUDHENS.

The Spokesman for the Western Lake Erie Blood Services region, Annie Marckel, notified the need of all blood types with a particular focus on O-negative. Ms. Marckel said that the universal blood type which can be transfused to everyone is in high demand for emergency situations.

The Red Cross has suggested that to meet the hospital demand, each day around 300 people must donate their blood while applauding people including Mr. Sutton for their contribution as part of the National Blood Donor Week.

Mr. Sutton works in security at Casey Hospital claimed that he tried to donate his blood frequently over the past 23 years, after successful completion of a Red Cross first aid course."I thought I'd do the right thing and help people out there in need", added Mr. Sutton.
