DTCM, DCD Sign MoU To Improve Safety Facilities Of Hotels

The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Directorate General of Dubai Civil Defence (DCD) in order to perk up security facilities of hotels.

Mr. Khalid A bin Sulayem, DTCM Director General, and Major General Rashid Thani Al Matrooshi, DCD Director General signed the MoU at the DCD Headquarters in Dubai in the company of senior functionaries from both the groups.

The MoU aims at collaboration as well as coordination between both the organizations to help DCD in the performance of the responsibilities of its personnel at all times, mainly in urgent situations and encouraging combined action, including providing added value to develop performance and simplify the processes and client satisfaction.

The DTCM Director General, Khalid Ahmed Bin Sulayem, said that the main purpose of MoU was to guarantee better security for all hotels in the emirate in the services and facilities offered by the DTCM to improve Dubai's tourism product.

Major-General Rashid Al Matrooshi stated that the signing of this deal shows the eagerness on both sides to tactically plan protection all the times for the benefit of the visitants and personnel of the hotel establishments.

The MoU will be the base for collaboration for the safety of all hotel establishments to the highest norms to handle fires and other types of emergencies.
