Nature plays a vital role in our lives and the most recent game played by the nature is Hurricane Katrina, which has affected many lives severely.
Many were awaiting the final decision upon Katrina deaths, which raised tensions among the relatives of those, who were trapped at Memorial Medical Center after Hurricane Katrina. In context to which, Class-Action Suit was also filed after Katrina Hospital Deaths upon which the judgment has come out today, according to which a settlement of $25 Million has been agreed by a New Orleans judge.
The official preliminary approved the settlement agreement to end a class-action lawsuit, which had been filed against one of the nation's largest publicly owned health care companies.
According to the terms of the deal, Tenet Healthcare Corporation and a subsidiary have to pay $25 million to the patients and the visitors, who got trapped at Memorial Medical Center after Hurricane Katrina occurred. Also, it was announced that post making all the approved settlements, no future liability for claims by any of the class members (Fink, 7/21) would be considered legal.
