Mentri Besar Datuk Abdul Ghani Othman recently revealed that this week, Iskandar Malaysia would be exhibited at the world’s largest growth development exhibition in Dubai.
He further informed the gathered reporters, “The southern Johor growth corridor was also set to attract new foreign investors to further boost its momentum for the next five to 10 years.”
He informed that in order to attend the exhibition he would leave for Dubai along with representatives from 100 companies. He is quite hopeful that new investments would be attracted to Iskandar Malaysia.
At the Hari Raya open house, Abdul Gahni said, “We will be meeting many foreign investors in Dubai and despite the economic uncertainty faced by the United States, we are confident of attracting new investments into Johor. At present we have already secured about RM38bil in investment projects for Iskandar Malaysia and we plan to secure more investments from the exhibition.”
