German Doctor-Ubani Brings Shame for His Country

Daniel-UbaniGerman doctor Daniel Ubani has become a symbol of shame in his homeland after he inadvertently killed a pensioner named David Gray, 70, during his first visit to UK. Ubani has been fined 7,000 Euros in his country for violating doctors’ code of conduct.

Gray’s family lashed out at German authorities for allowing the unskilled doctor to continue his work when his name has been struck off by UK medical regulators-General Medical Council for showing incompetence and misbehavior in treating Gray and other two patients.

In 2008, Ubani gave a tenfold overdose of the painkiller diamorphine to Gray at his Cambridge shire home.

A coroner last year discovered that Gray has been killed unlawfully by Ubani during his visit to UK. But according to German medical investigators-The Doctors Chamber, they had no authority to ban the German doctor who has majorly practiced as cosmetic surgeon in Witten. And, the one who had-the local authority of Arnsberg has declined to do so.

Rory Gray, son of David Gray told that other EU members need to recognize automatically doctors’ licenses in Germany when local councilors refuse to do so. He told that action should be taken swiftly when the German authorities themselves have told that the German doctor was dangerous and his name should be struck off. Doctors Chamber spokesman Markus Wenning said, “We wanted to strike off his name”.
