Oman and the United Arab Emirates are all set to roll out a new era of their relations. His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said and Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al Nahyan, President of UAE will hold a meeting during the visit of Sultan Qaboos during his two-day private visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Both leaders will discuss various issues of diplomatic and bilateral trade in a bid to meet the aspirations of both countries and achieve the prospective integration and cooperation in all fields. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al Nahyan, President of UAE extended rousing welcome at His Majesty's arrival at Al Ain International Airport.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Gen. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan, Heir Apparent of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed al Nahyan and many more high level officials were also present on the occasion.

The Diwan of Royal Court issued a statement on the visit which says, “During His Majesty’s visit, all aspects which promote the relations to meet aspirations of the people of both the countries and achieve prospective integration and cooperation in all fields will be discussed to serve the common interests of both the countries towards the bright future, further progress and prosperity.”
