The Pediatricians of Great Ormond Street Hospital alleged that the senior managers have withheld the critical information about the hospital’s role in the events which led to the death of Baby Peter Connolly. Not only they have asked for investigation but they have also asked the Trust’s Chief Executive, Dr. Jane Collins to resign following the death in the hospital.

It has been revealed that the hospital is inadequately staffed and has untrained staff. A patient’s life is often put at stake as the hospital lacks in modern technology to treat certain serious and lethal disease. The hospital lacks in communication. It has been told that the critical information is not provided to the staff at right time.

The senior doctors have alleged that the Trust’s Chief Executive, Dr. Jane Collins is not well qualified to be given the post. Moreover, the information regarding the posts or designation of the doctors is not provided to the patients. It has been reported that sometimes an eye patient is examined by a general doctor and therefore the condition of the patient is worsens.
