It has been announced by the Keith and District Hospital Board that it has been able to device a robust business plan that is going to help them to be able to sustain the functioning of the hospital for four years to come.
According to this new plan, there would be cutting of the state subsidies of the hospital. They would be cut down by 60%.
There was a review of the functioning of the hospital authorities and this is what gave rise to building up such a plan of action for the same.
The Chairman, James De Barro was of the view that this is a tight situation, though he still believes that the hospital can make it through on its own. The new plan for the functioning of the business includes the attraction of more doctors towards the vicinity and this would embark further cash flow in the medical system.
"By looking to focus and maintain doctoring services, it should be able to make ends meet”, he said.
The new plan of action is sure to give a start to a new beginning and would help in making positive developments in the hospital business.
