There were number of complaints lodged by people for the reason that there are undue delays in the treatment of patients. The Health authorities from South Australia have taken a strict turn towards the same and all these complaints have been said to be baseless and untrue.

The CEO of the firm is of the view that all the complaints made of the fact that patients were made to wait for a number of hours, are not true. There were complaints made that patients have been made to wait on ramps for treatment. He was of the view, “Allegations made that patients are waiting outside the emergency department for treatment - that is not correct”. He further added that all patients are getting proper treatment and access to the emergency department of the hospital.

The complaints were made by Ambulance Employees' Association. They were of the view that a patient with suspected heart attack was made to wait for medical aid for one and a half hour by the paramedics. This sort of irresponsible behavior of the hospital authorities might cost a great deal to patients.

They are of the view that they need a guarantee that patients shall be treated as the first priority for the medics and timely aid would be given to them when required.
