Bank of Ireland Withdraws Funding Support from Nursing Home Construction

Nursing-HomeA chaotic situation aroused today, which was a result of the refusal by a bank to lend any money in favor of a nursing home building. The process of making the building was halted and there is a lot of confusion about where the authorities are now going to raise funds from.

The idea of the development of this new nursing home for the aid of the general public had been devised long ago. The architects and the planners have spent about two years planning for the same. The site and the permission were also bought. It is now that the funding for the construction is becoming an issue of concern for the makers.

They were expecting that the bank would lend them a sum of €3.96 million to finance the €7 million endeavor. He reason behind this refusal by the bank is believed to be the uncertain nature of the Fair Deal Nursing home support scheme of the state.

The construction of the hospital would have given employment opportunities to about 80 people. This would’ve done a lot of benefit to a number of people. The Bank of Ireland withdrew its support from the nursing home and this is the reason all this difficulty has risen for them.
