Scientists Predict the Onset of Menopause

MenopauseAccording to the recent study, it was found out that scientists have now predicted the onset of menopause and now it cannot prevent you from having family.

AMH or Anti-Müllerian hormone is a substance produced in ovarian follicles. This hormone is responsible for the menopause in women. Menopause can be predicted by examining the level of AMH in blood.

University Medical Centre Utrecht in The Netherlands, the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism has reported that according to their new study, it was revealed that generally menopause occurs in the age of 40-60 years but due to some unfavorable conditions it can be in early 30 years.

This study has examined 257 healthy women for over 11 years and then reached to the conclusion that menopause can be predicted.

This research was conducted by gynecologists Frank Broekmans and Bart Fauser of Medical Centre.

They lately say, "Women often postpone having children until their career has been well established. However, they may find that it is difficult to get pregnant at this time. It could therefore be very useful for women to know beforehand up to which age they remain fertile. As far as we know, we are the first researchers worldwide to succeed in making long term predictions for individual women."
