Heart-attack risk does not get affected by dairy products

Heart-attack risk does not get affected by dairy productsAccording to a recent study, heart health is not harmed by dairy products so before taking an extra scoop of ice-cream you do not have to think much.

The saturated content present in dairy products does not make them bad for your heart in any way.

An analysis was conducted by researchers from the Department of Community Heath at Brown University in Providence, R. I., about what effect does dairy products have on people who had heart attacks and who did not and they noticed that statistically there was no difference in both.

Stella Aslibekyan, co-author of the study and graduate student at Brown said, “The overall message of dairy consumption, at least in the levels we studied, is that it is not likely to increase your risk of heart attack.”

Men and women who were less than 75 years of age were analyzed to see the effects of dairy products by Ana Baylin and Hannia Campos and Aslibekyan. All these participants were from Costa Rica. Out of all the people who were a part of the study, about 50 per cent were the control group and those who were left had survived their first heart attack.

It was seen that the difference was nothing when it came to dairy products having an impact on the heart health.
