According to the authors of a new study, it has been revealed that dairy products are not dangerous for the heart. Research in Costa Rica has concluded that there is no heart risk from consuming dairy products. This research work has been published in the journal Nutrition, Metabolism and Cardiovascular Diseases.
The researchers from Brown University Team have claimed that though there are saturated fats in milk and butter, but other healthy nutrients counter balances the thing and thus milk products are not bad for the heart.
"The message is that it is important to look at the net effect of whole foods and dietary patterns and not only isolated nutrients", explained co-author Ana Baylin.
In another research work carried out by at Harvard School of Public Health, it was found that men who drink more amount of coffee in a day have lower risk of developing a prostate cancer. It was found that men who consume 6 or more cups of coffee per day have 20% lower chances of contracting a prostate cancer.
Eating dairy food does not increase the chances for the heart attack. On the other hand, the healthy nutrients in the dairy product help to remain healthy.
