A recent research that claims to analyze a huge number of children during various development stages starting from the fetus to a grown school going kid has revealed that the stressed pregnant women are more likely to have stubborn babies with uncontrolled temperament due to a stress hormone, present in the wombs.
The neurologists, who hosted the study, explained that the stress hormone in the womb has a major contribution to interrupt the normal passage of neurons between the two hemispheres of the brain that indeed imparts a wide range of behavioral complications.
The hormone was observed to work as a catalyst in order to develop the disorders such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) including inattentiveness, hyperactivity, lack of self control and other behavioral problems. In addition to this, the stress hormone was also found culprit to influence other aspects of personality in later stages of life.
Alina Rodriguez of the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London, has advised the expecting mothers to not panic from the news and said: "It is really important to put it into perspective and to go about your business and try to relax, get support from different people and do things that make you feel good".
