Dubai-based Corodex Electromechanic, a part of the Concorde-Corodex Group, has secured a contract to build a vacuum sewerage system for the world's largest aluminum plant in Qatar.

Qatalum's smelter is located at Mesaieed in Qatar, some 40 km from the capital Doha.

The project involves design, supply, and supervision of installation of a vacuum sewerage system, supplied by Roediger Vacuum.

On completion, the vacuum sewerage network will consist of approximately 63 Z75 vacuum chambers, all connected with one central vacuum station with a 5km-long vacuum sewer line.

Earlier, Corodex has installed similar systems on Palm Jumeirah and Palm Deira in Dubai, for Al Raha Gardens in Abu Dhabi and other locations in Middle East.
