The Blayney region is facing various health care related problems from past few months. The Chairperson of the Blayney Health Council, Mrs. Hardman said that the Blayney and surrounding villages have been without a doctor at the hospital for over 12 months. The problems are required to be dealt with as soon as possible.
Mrs. Hardman has ensured the people that she will directly discuss the matter with recently elected member for Bathurst Paul Toole. She will also urge the government to consider the need of a doctor as a top priority.
The residents of the region are facing difficulty in receiving general treatment without a doctor. The government must look after the essential needs of such regions.
The Blayney Health Council has also appealed the state Health Minister, Jillian Skinner, and Member for Bathurst, Paul Toole to conduct a meeting to discuss the matter.
Meanwhile, the Blayney Health Services have declined the rumors spread among the health staff about the future of Blayney and Grenfell hospitals. It has made sure that the government has no plans to shut down either of the hospital.
