There is no two ways to the fact that the budget blueprint that has the capability to be able to mark significant changes in the Medicare Program that is meant especially for the disabled and the elderly people. The budget blueprint has been passed by the U. S. House of Representatives.
There is a bit of a friction on the fact that whether the new reforms would actually help in being able to save money or merely shift the area of costs that are presently paid by the government to the Medicare patients.
The Chairman of the House Budget Committee, Rep. Paul Ryan was of the view that the plans he has written would be able to cut down the current costs effectively.
He was of the view that the senior citizens would be given choice and power to be able to get the best treatment for themselves.
As for the Democrats, leader being the President, Barack Obama himself, are of the view that the new reforms shall merely make the Government pay less and put the costs o the patients.
"I mean, it's not hard to save the government money if you're willing to just say, 'Here, you pay for it”, said Mr. Barack Obama at a town hall meeting in northern Virginia two weeks ago. He said this is not an effective solution.
