Bonnie Carson Planning to Install More Smoke Alarms

Bonnie Carson Planning to Install More Smoke AlarmsA fire incident occurred because of broken fire place tile but failed to cause any major injuries because of the installed smoke alarm, near the place of fire.

The 19-years-old teenager, Bonnie Carson was sleeping at her home while woken by a sudden smoke alarm and recognized light below the door of her bedroom. The frightened girl opened the door and called up the emergency service number 111. She managed to escape the fireplace as the responding authorities had advised her to run out at the earliest.

According to the Tauranga Fire Service Senior Station Officer, Mark Keller, the girl was fortunate enough and not had any injury because of the fire. Indeed, the smoke alarm, fixed in the garage, has saved her life otherwise the house would have been engulfed by the flames.

"I know we bang on about it but the only thing that really saved this young woman's life was the smoke alarm, and the garage door being open”, he added further.

Now, Bonnie Carson, along with her parents is planning to install more smoke alarms although she had removed a smoke alarm from her bedroom, few days back, as it had no aesthetic appearance.
