In a meeting held by the Supreme Council of Energy in Dubai, announced to review the preparations for the Dubai Global Energy Forum (DGEF) 2011. This meeting is scheduled for two days from April 17 to 19.
Shaikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority’s President, Chairman along with Emirates Airline & Group’s CEO and the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Energy in Dubai, headed the meeting at the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) headquarters.
Apart from these members Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, the Vice-Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy also attended the meeting of the council.
According to Al Tayer, a review consist of the newest updates and developments made in association with the Dubai Global Energy Forum
(DGEF) this year, going to take place in Dubai from 17th-19th April.
The forum will be conducted under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The DGEF is a part of the plan made by the Government of Dubai, which targets to look into the future of renewable as well as alternative energy in order to meet the emirate’s future requirements.
