It was in last autumn that Jeff Kurze was told that his kidneys were failing and to get a kidney, he had to wait for at least five long years to get the type O match he needed.
His wife did not resort to just waiting and social networking was what she turned to. She posted a status on Facebook thinking that someday some of her Michigan friend might appear to help her.
She wrote, “Wishing a kidney would fall out of the sky so my husband can stop suffering. So if anyone knows of a live donor with type O blood, PLEASE let me know.”
There were some replies from people but these were not enough to convince the lady and she kept praying.
It was Ricky Cisco who is 25 years old and had met her just once who sent a reply to help her husband whose name also Ricky did not know.
Cisco wanted to know more about the transplant.
She said that the moment he met her he said that he wanted to help us by giving his kidney and that made her realize that he was god sent.
