According to a report generated by International Energy Agency there is a strong need for government across the globe to heighten incentive for clear power and use of renewable energy, as the global consumption of coal and natural gas are going to increase with each passing moment.
Coal is the worst offender for carbon emission worldwide as it is used to provide 47 percent of total worldwide electricity. With natural gas consumed at the rate of 33 percent in compared to 6.5 percent in terms burn waste or use renewable sources of energy used by companies.
Today IEA Deputy Executive Director Richard Jones said that a set of recommendation to make buildings and manufacturing units to opt for efficient energy usage would be proposed in the meeting in Abu Dhabi of government energy leaders from the U. S., China, Japan, Germany and other countries.
The recommendation also includes phasing out fossil-fuel subsidies; promote bio fuel and renewable energy, use of electric car, carbon capture and storage etc.
Since 2005, average usage for wind and solar power has increased at a percentage of 26 percent and 50 percent respectively.
