Blue will be your color if you support the cause autism. Most of us know of someone who is suffering from this and in the US this has become the fastest growing disability that affects one out of 110 children throughout the country.
Autism will be the cause of concern all this month and everyone is being asked to be its part by lighting blue.
Steve Yager, an advocate for Autism awareness said, “We're asking businesses, buildings, and landmarks to actually light their buildings up, light their porches up blue.”
Buildings that are known well in the US like the Empire State Building in New York City and the CN Tower in Toronto, Canada, were illuminated with blue among other buildings on the World Autism Awareness Day on April 2.
Yager said, autism is spreading fast and needs a lot of help when it comes to funding, research and spreading awareness about the disease.
People who are supporting the organization Autism Speaks have urged people to leave a blue light on all this month.
It was added that autism needs your support and please provide it for those who are suffering every day.
