Jennie-0 Turkey StoreIt was stated by the U. S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service that due to a possible Salmonella contamination, about 55,00 pounds of frozen and raw turkey burgers are being recalled by the Jennie-O Turkey Store.

It was stated by the FSIS on its website that All Natural Turkey Burgers that have a use by date of December 23, 11’ and is spiced with seasonings Lean White Meat is being recalled.

The website also informed that according to Jennie-O, it is at Sam’s Club that the ground turkey, which comes in 4-pound boxes containing 12 patties, is sold.

For a full refund, the product can be returned to a Sam’s Club store and consumers must avoid consuming the possibly contaminated product.

The link about the contamination between the outbreak and the illness was formed after three people were found to be ill during an investigation of a Salmonella outbreak in 10 states in Colorado, Ohio, and Wisconsin.

It was in March 14 that the last of these illnesses was reported.

Consuming food contaminated with Salmonella can make people who have weak immune systems get affected the most like infants, people who are old and even pregnant women.
