French Spiderman on his way to Dubai

Alain-RobertWorld famous climber Alain Robert popularly known as French Spiderman, is all to claim Burj Khalifa as his own as he intend to climb the world’s tallest building on Monday. Alain will climb Burj to mark up the opening of the 10th Education Without Borders (EWB) Conference organized by the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) where around 4000 students are expected to take part from all over the globe.

Earlier Robert has successfully scaled the Paris’ Eiffel Tower and Kuala Lumpur's Petronas Twin Towers using noting but his bare hands and an amazing sense of balance.

On asking what will be his strategies in climbing The Burj, Robert informed that he is taking a different approach for this particular stunt. He said that although people are used to see him climb without any safety gears, but this time he is going to perform his stunt with the help of a rope and a harness. Burj Khalifa is world’s tallest mega structure with a height of 828 meters.

Robert also said that he does not have any clear idea as to how long it will take him to finish his climb to the top, but he gleefully quipped that he will be very tired once he reaches the top. Robert is estimating that it may take around 6 to 7 hours to complete his stunt. Robert is also set to break his own record of climbing world’s tallest building by climbing Burj. Earlier he climbed Taipei World Financial Center, which had the crown of world's tallest tower before Burj Khalifa.
