Opposition Keen to Finish the Hospital Construction at Wagga Wagga BaseThe coalition is enthusiastic about the completion of the Wagga Wagga Base Hospital. Ms. Skinner, the health spokesperson of the opposition is of the view that all the required money shall be provided by the coalition for the completion of the hospital.

This shall be done if the federal funding bid does not work. There are talks being made to change the location of the construction and to shift it to a site at Greenfield’s.

According to Ms. Skinner, if there is such a change in plans, there shall be further delay caused. The project is long overdue and there need to be effective steps taken to prevent any further delay of the same. Ms. Skinner is of the view that this is an ideal site and the construction should be completed here by all means.

"It has to be the plans signed off by the local doctors, nurses and others because otherwise there'll be a delay. We cannot afford to let the people of Wagga Wagga down", she said.

She told the community leaders and the doctors of the hospital that the coalition was ready to pay for the costs of the building even if they would have to spend a humongous sum of $200 million.
