Didcot area's people will now be benefited as an outdoor gym has been opened up for them.
Running through the Ladygrove estate in the town, the £395,000 Ladygrove Loop project is a four km walking and cycle route.
On Wednesday morning, the ribbon was cut by South Oxfordshire District Council Leader Ann Ducker.
She said, "The Ladygrove Loop is one of many improvements planned in the town that will put Didcot on the map."
There are two new exercise stations that are included in the facility, an area for picnic, 10 new seating areas and distance interval markers.
About 1,800 new trees and wildflower meadows have been placed to improve the area of the natural parts of the walk.
The new equipment was tested by about 30 children who were about five to 10 years of age and are from Ladygrove Park Primary School in Avon.
Ten-year-old Emily Nuttall said, "I went on the rowing machines and really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to playing on them on the way home from school."
David Burrows, the school's head teacher, said that the council has done a good investment and this will make kids indulge in a physically active schedule as they will exercise.
