Recently, a meeting was held between General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Zapatero along with his delegates. The meeting was held on Monday.
In this meeting, they had a discussion over the mutual relations and find out different ways to improve for the best common interests of both nations and people, along with the recent developments in Libya.
Moreover, both the leaders have requested the regional and international parties to provide the protection and aid for the Libyan people. They were asked to help them so as to overcome the critical conditions. This condition was due to the growing confusion.
The visit of Shaikh Mohammad had reflected the inherent ties between the two countries and stressed President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan's enthusiasm for developing these relations and trying to have broader outlooks.
The Spanish leader had expressed his country's approval and respect to the UAE during the meeting. He has also shown his eagerness to push these bilateral relations to wider horizons with the aim of the best interests of both countries.
